SUMMARY:Wayne Rethford & Peter Georgeson's Celebration of Life and Memorial
DESCRIPTION:Two men\, bound by friendship and shared values\, formed a partnership that history will never forget. \nThe Board of Governors of the Illinois Saint Andrew Society invite you to a celebration of the lives and friendship of two of Chicago’s greatest Scots\, as we pay our grateful respect to Peter Georgeson and Wayne Rethford. \nThe visionary leader of Scot Forge\, Peter Georgeson was a long time member of the Society’s Board. In this capacity Peter was part of the search committee that hired Wayne Rethford to run the Scottish Home. \nPeter and Wayne formed a close personal bond that brought each wonderful happiness. Their partnership also brought monumental success to the Chicago Scots\, especially at our Scottish Home\, including the construction of a new healthcare wing to provide the highest levels and standards of loving care\, a beautifully landscaped courtyard\, and the Scottish American Museum to tell the stories of Scottish contributions to life in America. \nAll are welcome to join Peter and Wayne’s families and friends as we fondly appreciate and celebrate the incredible impact Peter and Wayne had on one another\, everyone in our Scottish Community\, and the enduring resonance of their values. \nRead Wayne’s Obituary Here \nPlease RSVP Below:
